Jagran Prakashan's Profit Surges by 62.7% Amid Growth in Print and Digital Revenue

Jagran Prakashan Ltd, the prominent publisher of Hindi daily Dainik Jagran, has announced a remarkable 62.7% rise in its consolidated net profit, reaching Rs 66.76 crore for the June quarter of FY26. The profit figures saw a steep increase from Rs 41.03 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year, as per their latest regulatory filing.
The media company's total revenue from operations recorded a growth of 3.6%, amounting to Rs 460.05 crore during the same period. This uptick was attributed to a 7.5% rise in revenue from printing, publishing, and digital operations, which stood at Rs 355.36 crore. However, the FM radio segment experienced a decline, with revenues shrinking by 17.24% to Rs 49.32 crore.
Other segments, including outdoor advertising and event services, grew modestly by 2.86% to Rs 56.11 crore. Overall, the company's total income, which combines various revenue streams, improved by 9.47% to Rs 511.5 crore. The stock on BSE closed higher at Rs 72.16, marking a 1.32% increase from the previous close.
