On Tuesday, the Delhi Cabinet approved a pioneering initiative named 'Hauslon Ki Udaan,' designed to discover and foster the talents of young individuals in various creative disciplines, including singing, dancing, and pottery.

The scheme, which officially begins in September, received its green light during a Cabinet meeting led by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, allocating a budget of Rs five crore for the current financial year.

This initiative will operate under the Department of Art, Culture and Languages, aiming to engage nearly five million youths across Delhi, with special provisions for those in unauthorized colonies and slum clusters. It marks the first state-led competition of its kind in India.
