A chilling crime story is set to unfold on the big screen as a film titled 'Honeymoon in Shillong' explores the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi, an Indore-based transport businessman, during his honeymoon in Meghalaya.
Directed by SP Nimbawat, the film has gained consent from Raghuvanshi's family, aiming to portray the complex tale of betrayal and tragedy. The plot centers around the arrest of his wife, Sonam, and her suspected lover in connection with the crime.
The film, mostly shot in Indore and parts of Meghalaya, hopes to shed light on the incident and prevent such betrayals in the future. Eight individuals, including Sonam and Raj Kushwaha, were arrested following the discovery of Raghuvanshi's body in a gorge.
