A Hyderabad couple has demonstrated extraordinary generosity by donating their house to the Venkateswara Swamy temple, as confirmed by the temple body, TTD, on Tuesday. This act of devotion follows a similar philanthropic gesture by the late IRS officer, YVSS Bhaskar Rao.
T Kanaka Durga Prasad and T Sunitha Devi, residents of Vasanthapuri Colony in Hyderabad, have gifted their property, valued at Rs 19 lakhs and measuring 250 square yards, to the revered Sri Venkateswara Swamy. Their decision underscores a profound spiritual commitment as formalized through a will.
The ownership documents were officially handed over to TTD's additional executive officer, Ch Venkaiah Chowdary, in Tirumala. As the governing authority of the acclaimed Sri Venkateswara temple in Tirupati, TTD lauded the couple's generosity towards the world's wealthiest Hindu shrine.
