The Amarnath Yatra, a significant pilgrimage in the Kashmir valley, resumed on Thursday from the Baltal axis after a weather-induced suspension.
No fresh batch of pilgrims was allowed from Jammu due to continued maintenance on the Pahalgam route. Heavy rains had rendered routes unsafe, halting the journey earlier this week.
Since its commencement on July 3, over 3.93 lakh devotees have visited the shrine. The pilgrimage is scheduled to conclude on August 9, aligning with the Raksha Bandhan festival.
