Aamir Khan is redefining the cinematic experience by choosing YouTube over traditional OTT platforms for the release of his latest film, 'Sitaare Zameen Par'. The actor has introduced a pay-per-view model that allows fans to watch films at Rs 100, directly from his channel, Aamir Khan Talkies.

This move leverages India's increasing internet penetration and UPI payment systems, aiming to provide an affordable alternative to multiplexes. Khan sees his YouTube channel as a 'private cinema chain' in every home, accessible to a wider audience irrespective of their geographic or financial constraints.

Aside from 'Sitaare Zameen Par', Khan plans to broadcast other films produced by his company and his father on this platform. The initiative could serve as a game-changer for the film industry, offering a new model for movie distribution and promoting inclusivity in entertainment.
