Pramiltai Medhe, the esteemed former sanchalika of Rashtra Sevika Samiti, has passed away at the age of 97 in Nagpur. According to a Sangh functionary, Medhe had been unwell for the past three months, with her condition deteriorating critically in the last fortnight.
Her passing at 9.05 AM in Devi Ahilya Mandir, where she resided, was confirmed by a release from the Rashtra Sevika Samiti. Medhe was noted as the fourth sanchalika of the organization, contributing significantly to its expansion and impact on women's empowerment and patriotism in the country.
Tributes poured in from various dignitaries, including RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, underscoring the deep respect and affection towards Medhe. Gadkari, in a heartfelt tribute, acknowledged her life's dedication to the Samiti's mission. Honoring her wish, Medhe's body will be donated to AIIMS Nagpur.
