Media and Politics: A Struggle for Integrity

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Friday criticized political parties for establishing media outlets that serve their own interests, claiming it hurts the integrity of journalism.

During the 10th anniversary of the Telugu daily 'Nava Telangana', Reddy reflected on how newspapers were originally founded to communicate party ideologies, but now, media has become a tool for political cover-ups and propaganda.

Reddy urged journalists to distinguish themselves from those aligned with political entities and called for the establishment of seminars to define true journalism in the current complex media landscape.
