In a move to honor spiritual leader Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the Telangana government announced plans to celebrate his 100th birth anniversary as a state function on November 23, 2025.
The Tourism and Culture department has been tasked with the responsibility of organizing the event, collaborating closely with the Sri Sathya Sai Trust in Telangana, according to a Government Order released on Saturday evening.
Born in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh in 1926, Sri Sathya Sai Baba passed away in 2011, leaving behind a significant spiritual legacy celebrated worldwide.
