Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot made a ceremonial visit to the Srivari temple nestled in the serene Tirumala hills of Andhra Pradesh. Arriving by road from Bengaluru on Sunday night, the Governor's visit was marked by traditional rituals.
Accompanied by family and officials, Governor Gehlot participated in the morning prayers at the temple. He sought blessings from Lord Venkateshwara, underlining the cultural and spiritual importance of the shrine. The visit reaffirms the deep-rooted ties between the state and this sacred site.
After the ritualistic darshan, the temple presented the Governor with Srivari Thirtha Prasadams, a diary, and a calendar during a brief ceremony at Ranganayakula Mandapam, according to a statement released by Raj Bhavan. Such visits highlight the enduring cultural heritage of the region.
