In a bid to foster design talent among young creatives, TVS Motor Company has announced the launch of the 'TVS INDUS' Design Honours initiative. This venture aims to transform India into a global design hub, integrating the country's rich design heritage with a modern and progressive outlook.

Inspired by the Indus Valley Civilisation, the initiative aligns with the 'Make in India' campaign, promoting a 'Design in India' ethos that emphasizes solutions rooted in India's diverse culture and lifestyle. TVS Vice-President Amit Rajwade emphasized the role of design as a link between imagination and real-world impact.

The open contest invites entries from students and design enthusiasts, focusing on four regional themes: Thar desert, Sahyadri, Kutch, and Mumbai. Participants must submit designs by October 6, 2025. Winners will receive up to Rs 5 lakh in cash and the chance to intern with the TVS Design Team.
