Janeita Singh, an esteemed academician and art critic, has claimed victory in the third edition of the Oxford Bookstore Art Book Prize with her book 'F.N. Souza: The Archetypal Artist'. The prize, organized by Niyogi Books, celebrates outstanding contributions to art literature.

The triumphant unveiling occurred at the Embassy of Norway, where Singh was presented with a trophy, certificate, and a cash reward of Rs 1 lakh. Her work stood out among five shortlisted titles, capturing the jury's admiration.

Chaired by art critic Alka Pande, the jury comprised notable figures, including the Norwegian Ambassador, May-Elin Stener. The prize highlights the significance of high-quality art documentation, encouraging artists and publishers to produce works that preserve cultural and artistic heritage.
