Commemorating the bravery of young revolutionary Khudiram Bose, officials and citizens gathered in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, on Monday to honor his legacy at the site of his 1908 execution. Bose was sentenced to death for attempting to kill British judge Douglas Kingsford, an act that tragically resulted in the deaths of two women.

A diverse assembly, including District Magistrate Subrata Sen and SSP Sushil Kumar, paid tribute at the central jail and the Khudiram Bose Memorial, marking the bombing's site. Villagers from Bose's ancestral home in West Bengal's Habibpur also joined to remember the fearless freedom fighter.

In Patna, top politicians, including Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, paid homage to those killed during the Quit India Movement of 1942 while hoisting the national flag. The combined remembrance across Bihar underscores the enduring fight for India's independence.
