The Union Home Ministry has communicated to state governments and Union Territory administrations to invite 'Divyangjans', next of kin of martyrs, sports event participants and winners, exceptional educators, and frontline health workers. This ceremonial reception will take place at the Governor and LG residences in the evening.
Highlighting a diverse guest list beyond the usual protocol, the event includes Padma awardees, women Sarpanches, student toppers, and children bravery awardees among others.
