On Saturday, Uttar Pradesh's political leadership marked the foundation day of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak extending their congratulations.
Chief Minister Adityanath hailed the VHP as the world's largest Hindu organization, commending its dedication to Hindu unity, national awakening, and Sanatan values. He recognized its exemplary role in religion, culture, and key social issues, including the preservation of cows, villages, and the Ganga.
Deputy Chief Minister Maurya reflected on the VHP's influential position in promoting Indian and national interests. He paid tribute to Ashok Singhal, a prominent figure in the Ram Janmabhoomi movement, for his leadership and sacrifices.
