In a landmark celebration, the Ram Janmabhoomi complex is all set to commemorate Shri Krishna Janmashtami with an array of rituals and vibrant decorations. Scheduled for the midnight hours of August 16-17, the event stands as a symbolic union of Lord Vishnu's revered incarnations, Shri Ram and Shri Krishna, as stated by temple officials.
The temple is being lavishly adorned with flowers and lights, with the idol of Ram Lalla receiving special attention. Clad in yellow garments and a golden crown, the idol follows the time-honored tradition of distinctive adornment for Krishna's birthday, according to insights from a Ram temple official communicated via PTI.
The celebrations will encompass a special aarti and the offering of 56 distinct dishes called Chhappan Bhog. Additionally, the Ram Temple Trust has orchestrated the preparation of 150 kilograms of prasad for distribution among saints, trustees, and devotees, supported by enhanced security measures to ensure safety amid a high alert.
