In a brazen act of aggression, two masked assailants opened fire on the residence of popular YouTuber Elvish Yadav in Gurugram's Sector 57, early Sunday morning. The attack, which saw over two dozen bullets fired, was captured on CCTV, sparking alarm among Yadav's family members who were present at the time.
The notorious 'Bhau gang' has claimed responsibility for the violent incident. In a social media post, members Neeraj Faridpur and Bhau Ritoliya admitted to orchestrating the attack, citing Yadav's promotion of betting apps as their motive. Despite the unsettling event, no family members were harmed, though the gunfire struck both the ground and first floors of the property.
Police swiftly responded to the incident, securing forensic evidence and analyzing surveillance footage. While the investigation is ongoing and an FIR is expected soon, the family remains anxious for justice. Notably, this isn't the first high-profile attack in the region, with singer-rapper Rahul Fazilpuria also targeted in recent months.
