Blockbuster Success: 'War 2' Dominates Box Office
'War 2', featuring Jr NTR, Hrithik Roshan, and Kiara Advani, has made a remarkable Rs 142.6 crore in its initial three days at the domestic box office. Directed by Ayan Mukherji, this sequel builds on the 2019 hit 'War', with Roshan's Kabir facing off against NTR's Vikram in an action-packed spectacle.

'War 2', starring Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan, has taken the domestic box office by storm, collecting an impressive Rs 142.6 crore within three days. The film, also featuring Kiara Advani, premiered in theaters on Thursday and marks NTR's debut in Bollywood under Ayan Mukherji's direction. A sequel to the 2019 blockbuster 'War', it opened to Rs 52 crore and continued to draw audiences with Rs 57.35 crore and Rs 33.25 crore over the next days, according to trade tracking website Sacnilk.
The earnings include Rs 99.5 crore from the Hindi version, Rs 0.9 crore from Tamil, and Rs 42.2 crore from the Telugu version. In 'War 2', Hrithik Roshan reprises his role as the formidable RAW agent Kabir, engaging in a global chase with rogue agent Vikram, portrayed by NTR. The cast is rounded off by Ashutosh Rana and Anil Kapoor, adding depth to the high-octane action thriller.
The original 'War', helmed by Siddharth Anand and featuring Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor, achieved phenomenal box office success, grossing over Rs 471 crore globally. It stood as the highest-grossing film in India for the year 2019, setting high expectations for the sequel.
