Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen KT Parnaik (Retd) underscored the pivotal role of women in achieving true progress. In discussions with Women and Child Development minister Dasanglu Pul, he emphasized that empowering women as job creators and leaders is crucial for community strength and economic self-reliance.
The governor highlighted initiatives like skill development and access to markets, supporting the 'Vocal for Local' campaign, as essential elements in fostering women-led entrepreneurship. Parnaik noted that this approach serves as both an economic strategy and a means to build resilient communities.
Touching on the Vibrant Village Programme (VVP), Parnaik pointed out its potential to transform border villages through improved connectivity, education, health services, and livelihoods.
