'From Ground Zero', an anthology by 22 Palestinian directors, is set to open the 17th International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala (IDSFFK) starting August 22.
Organized by the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy, the anthology sheds light on the enduring scars of Gaza, revealing stories of resilience through documentaries, short films, and animations.
Curated by Rashid Masharawi, this collection was scheduled for Cannes but was pulled for 'political reasons'. The festival will also present documentaries on India's 2024 General Elections and films on Pune Film Institute's female alumni.
