HBO Unveils Star-Studded Cast for New Weasley Family in Upcoming Series

HBO has significantly expanded its cast lineup as production for the much-anticipated Weasley family series progresses. On Tuesday, the network announced new cast members on Instagram, revealing the faces behind many of the beloved Weasley siblings. The announcement follows earlier casting for the roles of Ron and Molly Weasley, portrayed by Alastair Stout and Katherine Parkinson, respectively.

Among the new cast, the Harland brothers, Tristan and Gabriel, have been cast as the mischievous Fred and George Weasley, while Ruari Spooner will portray the studious Percy. Gracie Cochrane will embody Ginny Weasley, the youngest sibling and only sister. Their addition enriches a cast with an impressive range of acting backgrounds, including Parkinson's fame from "The IT Crowd" and the Harland brothers' appearance in "The Last Kingdom."

Set for a 2027 premiere, the series promises a faithful adaptation under the direction of Mark Mylod and showrunner Francesca Gardiner, with JK Rowling as executive producer. The series, featuring Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter and Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, rounds out with John Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore and other notable characters, crafting a spellbinding experience for fans.
