Kirsten Dunst Eyes Sequel After 'Minecraft Movie' Success

Kirsten Dunst has expressed her admiration for the box office triumph of 'A Minecraft Movie', which has already surpassed USD 900 million in earnings. Enthusiastic about its success, Dunst didn't rule out starring in a potential sequel.

Despite her initial focus on blockbuster films like the 'Spider-Man' series early in her career, Dunst has dedicated herself to independent films more recently. Her recent works include acclaimed titles such as 'Melancholia', 'The Beguiled', and 'The Power of the Dog'.

In an interview with Town & Country, Dunst shared her excitement over the movie's performance, quipping about making future projects that might yield profit. Additionally, she mentioned her children enjoyed the movie too. Dunst is set to star in 'Roofman' alongside Channing Tatum and Peter Dinklage, premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival. Notably, she is also set to collaborate once more with director Sofia Coppola, with whom she's worked on films like 'The Virgin Suicides'.
