In a historic achievement, Group Captain Shubhashu Shukla of the Indian Air Force has become the first Indian astronaut to reach the International Space Station as part of the Axiom-4 mission. Amid the celebrations, political sparks flew as Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav took the opportunity to criticize the ruling BJP.

Yadav remarked on how BJP leaders often rely on astrology rather than astronomy, responding to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's reception for the astronaut. Yadav accused the BJP of always trying to claim credit, a sentiment reflected in the civic reception organized to honor Shukla's achievement.

Praising Shukla's dedication, Yadav expressed a desire to meet him to discuss space and related subjects. Despite the political undertones, Shukla's accomplishment marks a significant milestone for India's space endeavors and has amplified national pride.
