Flute virtuoso Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia is set to headline the 28th Amar Jyoti event alongside famed tabla player Ustad Rashid Mustafa Thirakwa in the national capital this Tuesday.
Held at Kamani Auditorium, the celebration is a tribute by the Pandit Chatur Lal Memorial Society, using music to honour India's armed forces.
Pandit Charajit Chatur Lal, the society's secretary, stated this initiative perpetuates their family's legacy in using music as a medium of patriotic service, fostering pride and respect among audiences. This year, the event also features 'Brahmaand – The Universe,' a contemporary ensemble.
