The KNMA Music Festival returns for its second season, promising a rich tapestry of Lavani, hip-hop, folk-rock, and Carnatic music performances at Sunder Nursery from October 9. Under the curation of the renowned TM Krishna, the event will delve into themes of identity, resistance, and cultural roots, featuring ten diverse productions.

Known for sparking dialogue on unity and understanding, the festival, organized by the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, is themed 'Voices of Diversity'. Spread over four days, it will bring together emerging and established musicians from all corners of India, set against the picturesque backdrop of Sunder Nursery's Amphitheatre and Sunken Garden.

Expect an opening with the evocative 'Lavani Ke Rang' from Maharashtra and the vibrant sounds of 'Wild Wild Women', India's pioneering all-female hip-hop group. As the festival unfolds, audiences will experience the untold stories of Manipuri folk rock by 'Imphal Talkies & The Howlers', as well as musical homages from the B Side Project by Anirudh Varma Collective. The event culminates with performances that include Kashmiri rock band 'Parvaaz' and Ankur Tewari's evocative folk rock, among others, promising a heartfelt communal celebration.
