Renowned filmmaker Martin Scorsese and Hollywood heavyweight Leonardo DiCaprio are set to collaborate once more for a film adaptation of Peter Cameron's celebrated novel, 'What Happens at Night'. Apple Original Films is in negotiations to finance and produce the movie alongside Studiocanal.

The film will mark the reunion of DiCaprio and actress Jennifer Lawrence, who previously co-starred in the critically acclaimed 'Don't Look Up'. Studiocanal acquired the novel's rights earlier this year with intentions for Scorsese to produce and Oscar-nominated writer Patrick Marber to pen the screenplay.

Set in a remote and snowy European city, the narrative unfolds as an American couple encounters enigmatic figures as they strive to adopt a child. Known for delivering cinematic masterpieces, Scorsese and DiCaprio have a history of successful collaborations, further heightening anticipation for this new project.
