Telangana witnessed a vibrant celebration of Vijaya Dasami on Thursday, as devotees embraced traditional practices with unwavering devotion. Thousands flocked to iconic temples like the Bhadrakali temple in Warangal, marking the auspicious occasion with early morning prayers.
Among those celebrating was Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, who performed 'Ayudha Puja' at home. Similarly, Union Coal and Mines Minister G Kishan Reddy joined the festivities with his staff and security personnel.
The state's floral festival, Bathukamma, coincided with Navratri and was marked with grandeur. In a spectacular showcase, Telangana set two Guinness World Records for the 'tallest Bathukamma' and 'largest Telangana folk dance' earlier this week.
