Amit Shah Pays Respects at Shirdi and Honors Vikhe Patils

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah visited the revered Saibaba temple in Shirdi, Maharashtra, during his brief tour of the state on Sunday.
Shah was joined by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar. He arrived in the temple town located in Ahilyanagar district on Saturday night.
During his visit, Shah is set to unveil statues honoring Dr Vithalrao Vikhe Patil, a notable figure in the cooperative movement, and his son, Dr Balasaheb Vikhe Patil, former Union minister and part of the influential Vikhe Patil family. The minister will also address a rally organized for the region's farmers.
