Superstar Akshay Kumar has called on Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to transform Mumbai's renowned Film City into a state-of-the-art facility.
During a conversation at the 25th edition of FICCI Frames, Kumar praised the city's infrastructure and urged Fadnavis to revamp the Dadasaheb Phalke Chitranagari.
Fadnavis expressed regret for not executing plans to develop Film City into an international ecosystem during his previous tenure but is now committed to initiating significant changes within a year. The discussion also highlighted the significance of promoting Marathi cinema to engage Gen Z audiences.
