Sonia Gandhi Unveils Virbhadra Singh's Statue in Shimla
Senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi unveiled a statue of the late Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh at Daulat Singh Park in Shimla. The event included prominent Congress figures and a large public turnout, with tight security measures in place. The statue was created by Ram V Sutar's company.

In a significant event that brought together top Congress leadership, senior party figure Sonia Gandhi unveiled a statue of the late Virbhadra Singh, six-time Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, at Shimla's historic Ridge Ground.
Accompanied by her daughter, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Sonia Gandhi paid floral tributes to Singh, whose bronze statue, standing six feet tall, joins other notable leaders' statues in the area.
Designed by renowned sculptor Ram V Sutar, the monument cost Rs 40 lakh. The unveiling drew an extensive crowd, including Congress heavyweights, under tight security with about 400 police personnel on duty to manage the event smoothly.
