'Behtar Dilli': A Campaign for Cleaner, Safer Delhi

The Indian Youth Congress has unveiled the 'Behtar Dilli' campaign, aiming to tackle various civic issues plaguing the nation's capital. The initiative comes in response to growing frustration among Delhiites facing choking smog, waterlogged streets, and piling garbage dunes.

According to IYC president Uday Bhanu Chib, the effort is rooted in a framework of dialogue, struggle, and solutions, transcending mere political posturing. The campaign seeks to galvanize mass participation rather than remain a routine protest.

Senior leaders, including Congress stalwart Ajay Maken, have outlined crucial demands such as the elimination of landfill sites by December 2026 and consistent waste collection services. Additional objectives include addressing water supply issues and installing CCTV cameras in schools for enhanced safety.
