Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has asserted that the future power of any nation will hinge on its defence capabilities rather than its wealth. Speaking at the Nag Bhushan award presentation, Gadkari stated that defence strength will be the cornerstone of national power in the coming times.

Highlighting historical and cultural contexts, the BJP leader remarked that India has no expansionist inclinations. He praised the Solar Group's chairman, Satyanarayan Nuwal, who received the 2025 Nag Bhushan Award for his substantial contributions to the defence sector.

Gadkari further underscored the role of technology in modern defence strategies and advocated for the privatization of defence production to boost national capabilities.
