The much-anticipated film 'Bandar', starring Bobby Deol, is set to hit theaters worldwide on June 5, the filmmakers announced on Monday. Helmed by acclaimed director Anurag Kashyap, the film sheds light on critical societal issues through its gripping narrative.
After its world premiere at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival in September 2025, 'Bandar' showcases the story of a once-famous actor embroiled in a legal battle after facing serious allegations. By doing so, the film navigates the intricacies of a challenging legal system, exposing the injustices that often go unaddressed in society.
Produced by Nikhil Dwivedi and Zee Studios, 'Bandar' enlists an array of talents including Sanya Malhotra, Raj B Shetty, and others who deliver compelling performances. Bobby Deol will also be seen in other upcoming projects, such as 'Alpha' and 'Jana Nayagan', broadening his cinematic horizon.
