The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) and the National School of Drama (NSD) have partnered to introduce 'RangBaag', a pioneering theatre initiative to reconfigure public parks into vibrant hubs of creativity and learning.
Launched as per the directives of Delhi Lt Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu, the programme aims at transforming green areas into active cultural spaces. The initial session kicked off on May 2 at the Maya Art Gallery in Indraprastha Park, with 21 children between 12 and 16 years participating.
Dubbed as a groundbreaking collaboration, the initiative involves a six-week workshop where seasoned theatre educators guide participants through exercises in communication, movement, storytelling, improvisation, and performance techniques.
