Strengthening Caribbean Ties: India's Diplomatic Voyage

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has embarked on his inaugural visit to Jamaica, aiming to strengthen bilateral ties with the Caribbean. His arrival in Kingston marks the beginning of a strategic nine-day tour across Jamaica, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago.

Jaishankar's presence was warmly greeted by Jamaica's Foreign Minister Kamina J Smith, reflecting the mutual desire to deepen cooperation. The Indian minister is set to engage with Jamaican leaders, the business community, and the Indian diaspora in a series of meetings and discussions.
