An explosion at a fireworks manufacturing plant in Liuyang city, Hunan province, has resulted in a significant tragedy. The blast, which occurred at around 5 p.m. on Monday, claimed the lives of 21 individuals and left 61 others injured, according to reports from Chinese state media.
The incident took place at the Liuyang Huasheng Fireworks Manufacturing and Display Co located in Guandu township. Shortly after the explosion, emergency and fire rescue teams hurried to the scene to manage the situation and assist those affected by the blast.
A total of 61 individuals have been admitted to the hospital for treatment following the explosion. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the incident as the community mourns the loss of life.
