Johar's attire, featuring a power-shouldered vintage jacket and a six-foot hand-painted cape, was crafted by over 80 artisans over 85 days. The red-carpet moment was not merely fashion-forward but a tribute to the nation's cultural heritage, perfectly aligned with the gala's theme 'Costume Art'.
Expressing his exhilaration, Johar remarked on the significance of representing Indian artistry on a prestigious platform. Malhotra, who also attended the gala, highlighted the skilled craftsmanship behind the creation, reinforcing the theme of honoring artisans on this grand fashion stage.
