Malayalam cinema has lost a bright star with the tragic passing of Santhosh Nair following a road accident at Enathu.
Police confirmed the accident transpired around 6.30 am on Tuesday when Nair's car collided with a lorry. Both Nair and his wife sustained significant injuries, with Nair's chest hitting the steering wheel.
Known for his versatility, Nair's career spanned over 100 films, starting with his debut in 1982's 'Ithu Njangalude Katha'. His most recent work, 'Mohiniyattam', is currently screening in cinemas.
