Debate Over P Jayarajan's Temple Visit Amidst Book Research

P Jayarajan, a senior leader of CPI(M), recently found himself at the center of political controversy after visiting the Kodungallur Bhadrakali temple in Kerala.

The BJP alleged that his visit was for spiritual purposes, to which Jayarajan responded, asserting it was purely for research for his upcoming book, 'Sanatanikalude Hindutva Vazhikal'.

The visit did not escape political scrutiny, as BJP's K Surendran ridiculed Jayarajan, linking it to the CPI(M)-led LDF's poll defeat in April, adding layers to the ongoing political discourse in the state.
