Based on Adrian McKinty's critically acclaimed novel, the series promises a suspenseful narrative as it delves into the harrowing story of Rachel, a suburban mother whose ordinary life spirals into chaos when her daughter is kidnapped.
According to Deadline, Comer will portray Rachel, a woman ensnared in perilous circumstances, forced to make heart-wrenching decisions to rescue her child. Damon Lindelof, known for his work on several high-profile projects, steps in as the writer, executive producer, and showrunner, promising to expand on McKinty's original storyline.
The series has moved swiftly from concept to production, with Lindelof and Carly Wray crafting the pilot script from a concept developed alongside Breannah Gibson.
