The 128th edition of the renowned Ooty flower show is set to kick off, with throngs of tourists expected in the picturesque hill station. This annual 10-day event is strategized to draw visitors nationwide during the summer holiday rush.

Hosted at the Ooty Government Botanical Garden from May 18 to 28, preparations are in full swing. According to Nilgiris District Collector Lakshmi Bhavya Tanneeru, thousands of flowers have already bloomed, accompanied by intricate displays arranged for the exhibition.

Simultaneously, the 21st Rose Show was inaugurated by the district collector on May 14, running until May 18, 2026, adding another layer of floral allure to the region.
