The tragic incident occurred when Shetty reportedly jumped into a river near the Vandse bridge, situated within the Kollur police jurisdiction. Local authorities were alerted after his chilling message suggested a deteriorating domestic life, urging relatives to care for his children following his death.
According to police sources, Shetty relocated from Mumbai to his native Byndoor a year ago. Living in Vandse, his wife's hometown, Shetty's family circumstances reportedly declined, steeped in marital strife and disagreements. Authorities confirmed ongoing investigations into this heartbreaking case.
