Mid-Air Collision Stuns Idaho Air Show

Emergency crews rushed to Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho after two planes collided during the Gunfighter Skies Air Show. The base was locked down while an investigation was initiated.

Multiple witnesses reported seeing the crash, with videos showing four parachutes deploying as the aircraft descended to the ground. The incident occurred about 50 miles south of Boise.

The air show, including performances by the US Air Force Thunderbirds, is a popular celebration of aviation history and modern military aircraft, featuring flying demonstrations and parachute jumps.
