Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde inaugurated the Shiv Sena group's leadership office within the Thane Municipal Corporation on Monday. He expressed optimism that this new facility would effectively address the civic challenges faced by Thane's residents.

The inauguration ceremony took place in the presence of party stalwarts such as MP Naresh Mhaske, Mayor Sharmila Pimpolkar, Deputy Mayor Krishna Patil, and House Leader Hanmant Jagdale. Shinde highlighted Thane's unparalleled support for Shiv Sena, emphasizing its pivotal role in consolidating the party's strength across Maharashtra. The city, he noted, has contributed significantly, even providing the state with a chief minister. Shinde also pointed out the rapid development of crucial infrastructure projects, notably the metro network within the city.

Addressing speculations surrounding his recent meeting with Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Nagesh Patil Ashtikar, Shinde clarified that such interactions, involving representatives from different parties, are commonplace and are centered around development discussions, not political maneuvering.
