Droupadi Murmu's Fascination with Sikkim's Rich Heritage

Droupadi Murmu visited the Ridge Park Orchidarium in Sikkim, appreciating its extensive collection of orchids and cultural symbols. She was accompanied by local officials and was introduced to a variety of species, including one named after Narendra Modi.

Her itinerary also included a visit to Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, where Murmu praised the preservation of Himalayan Buddhist cultural heritage. Although rain canceled a bus service event, the focus remained on women empowerment.
