In a bid to restore harmony within the Bollywood industry, Ashoke Pandit, President of the Indian Film and Television Directors' Association, has called upon actor Ranveer Singh to amicably resolve disputes with the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE). The call for resolution comes after FWICE retracted its non-cooperation directive against Singh.

The directive emerged following Ranveer Singh's unexpected departure from the film 'Don 3,' triggering complaints from Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment. Ashoke Pandit revealed that after a series of discussions, the federation decided to withdraw its directive, emphasizing the need to prevent similar incidents in the future.

FWICE President BN Tiwari noted that producer bodies, including CINTAA and the Guild, advocated for a settlement of the issue. FWICE General Secretary Ashok Dubey highlighted that while the federation does not ban individuals, it issues non-cooperation against those who violate rules. Despite no direct response from Singh, the intervention from the Indian Motion Picture Producers' Association prompted the decision to seek a constructive resolution.
