Tripura CM Lauds Armed Forces' Success in Operation Sindoor

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has commended the Indian armed forces for their precision strikes under Operation Sindoor, carried out in response to the Pahalgam terror attack. He noted, "Within 15 days, the operation has been a remarkable success, and I extend my congratulations to the Indian Armed Forces. The people of Tripura stand united with the nation, the armed forces, and the government."

In a related development, CM Saha confirmed the execution of a comprehensive Civil Defence Mock Drill across Tripura's districts. "We've been informed of the scheduled mock drill, and Tripura is ready to execute it according to received directives," he stated. The exercise, led by the District Disaster Management Authorities in association with the District Civil Defence Corps, involves various emergency and disaster response agencies ensuring effective participation.

The drill's primary focus is to assess the readiness, efficiency, and coordination among civil defence units and affiliated departments in dealing with potential attacks and emergencies. Concurrently, India's central government has announced an all-party meeting set for Thursday, addressing post-attack strategies following the Pahalgam incident. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju confirmed the meeting, underscoring government and opposition unity against the attack perpetrators.
