Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis commended the Indian armed forces for their precise execution of Operation Sindoor, which successfully targeted nine terrorist sites in Pakistan. He emphasized the significance of the mission, highlighting that it resulted in no civilian casualties and demonstrated India's resolve against terrorism.

Fadnavis extended special praise to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his leadership, affirming that the operation upheld Modi's promises. The Chief Minister added that the international community's support was a notable achievement, further validating India's stance against terror activities.

The operation was a strategic response to the violent Pahalgam terror attack, symbolized by its name, Operation Sindoor, which represents avenging the grief of widowed sisters. During a press briefing, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh explained the operation's focus on preventing civilian casualties, while Col Sofiya Qureshi provided footage of targeted camps, including notorious training sites. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri condemned the Pahalgam attack's brutality, which aimed to destabilize the region.
