On the night of intense cross-border aggression, fifteen civilians were killed and 43 injured in artillery fire by Pakistani forces targeting Poonch and Tangdhar in Jammu and Kashmir, defense sources confirmed on Wednesday. Civilian homes suffered damage, leaving villagers in panic.

The Indian military promptly reacted with 'Operation Sindoor,' a strategic military response aimed at the terror infrastructure responsible for the Pahalgam attack, which left 26 dead. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh emphasized the precision and humanity of the operation, ensuring civilian safety while striking terror camps.

Meanwhile, Shiromani Akali Dal leader Sukhbir Singh Badal condemned a deadly attack on a Poonch Gurdwara, killing three Sikhs. Expressing solidarity, Indian leaders urged for compensation. Amidst heightened tensions, Indian intelligence revealed imminent threats, justifying further defensive actions against cross-border terrorism.
