Tensions are mounting between India and Pakistan, as defense expert Sanjeev Srivastava cautions that ongoing provocations from Pakistan could lead to a 'full-fledged war', potentially resulting in Pakistan's disintegration. Srivastava highlighted that India is currently responding in a measured manner.
India's military action, including the successful execution of airstrikes under Operation Sindoor, targeted terrorist locations in Pakistan. This move came after a series of attacks believed to be orchestrated by Pakistani entities, according to Srivastava. He stressed that India's responses have not targeted military or civilian infrastructure.
Alongside these developments, the Border Security Forces (BSF) stopped a significant infiltration attempt at the International Boundary in the Samba district. Additionally, two Pakistani drones were intercepted and destroyed by the Indian army near the Line of Control, amidst intense cross-border artillery fire.
